What does each Warranty Type mean?

How long is my Warranty period?

Most devices are covered by a 1-year warranty period. Warranty period will be communicated on product pages or device invoice for reference.

What would void my warranty?

Warranty shall not be applicable under the following circumstances:

  1. Damage caused due to any liquid entering in to the product, negligence, misuse, accident or any kind of natural disasters.
  2. Modifications or alterations of any nature made to the circuitry by the purchaser or unauthorized personnel, as determined by service partner.
  3. The original serial sticker / liquid indicator or warranty seal is/are removed, obliterated or altered.
  4. Defects due to cases such as lightning, abnormal voltage, acts of god or accidents while in transit to service partner.

What does my warranty cover?

Warranty will cover manufacturer defective products or parts with new or manufacturer factory rebuilt replacement items, and return the products to the customer in working condition. No charge will be made to the customer for either parts or labor in repairing or replacing manufacturer faults with the products. External housing and cosmetic parts are not covered under these warranty terms.

Things to keep in mind

  1. Data backup: all information, data, software or other applications, including but not limited to personal contacts, address books, pictures, music and games will be erased during the repair process, and cannot be re-installed. To avoid losing such information, data, software or other applications please create a backup before you deliver your Product for warranty service, remove any confidential, proprietary or personal information and disable any security passwords.
  2. Service centers or Daraz are not responsible for the loss or misuse of any data, files, content, applications and programs when the product is delivered for warranty service. Service centers may install operating system Software updates as part of warranty service that may prevent the Product from reverting to an earlier version of the operating system Software.
  3. Service partners neither assumes nor authorizes any service center or any person entity to assume for it any other obligation or liability beyond that which is expressly provided in this limited warranty.
  4. All warranty information, product features and specifications are subject to change without prior notice from Daraz or manufacturer.
  5. Without proof of purchase, service centers shall not be required to treat any device query as within the warranty period subject to their discretion.
